How Action Teams Work

Long-Term Action Teams

Long-Term Goal

Currently, two teams exist to provide guidance and direction on coalition activities and events: the Advisory Team and the Community Action Team. Members of these teams help to select and monitor strategies that are conducted by the coalition’s Short-Term Action Teams to assure that they are appropriate, efficient and have been proven to achieve positive outcomes. (Attention will be given to develop comprehensive programming that is based on the Seven Strategies for Community Level Change.)

Engagements

These teams will regularly develop a listing of tasks to address identified needs. Additional Long-Term Teams will be added when appropriate.

Timeline

Generally ongoing.
